I think any kind of carpet to protect the hard floor for some exercises that work well.
I love camping mats on my floor exercises.
My daughter and I cut a few of these camping mats, their tool-box to fill, rather than for the same $ $ $ coatings Craftsman toolbox! It is!

Pilates is an exercise routine, very scientific and exotic than most definantly requires only a special Pilates! Can buy the most expensive! As you can all benefit if you are too cheap to pass through?
