Chef Knife How Do I Remove Tarnish/rust From A High Quality Chef's Knife?

How do I remove tarnish/rust from a high quality Chef's knife? - chef knife

My sister bought me a kitchen knife in his hand in Japan. Unfortunately, I do not know what was made of metal, it is only one of the best knife makers in Tokyo. He ran by mistake in the dishwasher, and now all kinds of stains / spots that appear fuzzy and black / brown, fine lines, the rust can be similar when the jets of water, sprayed into the dishwasher. What should I do?

Be very careful when handling knives in the first place.

Developed under the water, I would have a green notebook, or a part of a zero on both sides with a sponge. Otherwise, try using a nylon brush with a stiff brush.

Start with the plastic and metal can be avoided, since the metal to scratch the surface or to remove any surface on the sheet.

Always make sure to brush out the leaves so that they do not slip and cut or blunt blade. Do not rub the edge of the leaf itself.

If water and a brush, cloth or sponge or steel wool does not work, try a little oil (eg WD-40), then rub lightly. Works in the arm. If you use WD-40, you must browse through the dishwasher, so you do not want to get in your food.

First, you have simply tried to wash their hands? does not remove the marks? Otherwise, the first attempt, I am sure that you always look carefully with fine steel wool on the beans to see if it is removed when the washing is not the brands, which remove a shame, too! But I do not believe that "work marks" with the way the knife with the eyes, good luck to disturb!
